Deepak Gupta

Deepak is the Founder & MD of Eden Retirement Living, his new entrepreneurial venture – a senior living & wellness project located in the foothills of the Himalayas in Dehradun with the uniqueness of having integrative medicine built into it i.e. allopathy, ayurveda, naturopathy, homeopathy, acupuncture, acupressure, yoga, spiritual healing, dietetics, etc. all at your doorstep.

Deepak has also been a Senior Advisor with a few companies and is open for additional Senior Advisor / Board of Director roles.

He has 33 years of experience with MNCs in the United States and India plus another 4 years in his own entrepreneurial venture. Of this, two decades have been as the MD/CEO of companies.

He has been in Executive Search as Country Head and Managing Director with Korn / Ferry International for 12 years and as Executive Chairman for DHR International for 2 1/2 years in India.

Prior to that, for 10 years, he was with Citicorp North America and Citibank India and was promoted to Vice President and Corporate Banking Head for North India based in New Delhi. He managed large corporate relationships for the bank both in the public and private sectors (multi-nationals and domestic companies).

Prior to Citibank, Deepak was in management consulting for 6 years with KPMG and PriceWaterhouse Coopers, specializing in healthcare consulting in Cleveland and Chicago, USA.

Deepak has passed all parts of the CPA certification examination from USA and the CA certification examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He graduated with honors from St. Xavier’s College, Calcutta and received a MBA in finance and a Post Graduate Certificate in management information systems from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, USA. Deepak has also attended a leadership program at the Harvard Business School, USA. . He has also attended Hunt Partners’ 10th Edition of the Directors’ Club training for Non-Executive / Independent Directors, (accredited/recognized by GoI).
