Thus, founder Jimmy Mistry - a serial entrepreneur himself and the brainchild of DLC, created this platform to bridge this need, harnessing “Design Thinking” methodology to identify 13 Business and 13 Lifestyle knowledge streams or Committees for future leaders. To challenge the status quo and create a positive impact in the lives of Entrepreneurs, Professionals and Young Leaders, DLC Global Community is the catalyst of change to drive people from 'A Life of Success to a Life of Significance'.

The DLC Global Community

It is an ensemble of the collective expertise of 2200+ thought leaders from 15 of the world’s major cities and straddling 26 diverse Knowledge Domains (13 Business and 13 Lifestyle) & 19 Global Summits. It is the knowledge, experiences, insights that these experts bring to the DLC platform that make each DLC Global Business and Lifestyle Committee unique and invaluable the world over.


DLC’s members include diverse, distinguished and successful individuals from each of its 15 Global Chapter cities whose membership is subject to a carefully curated selection process. DLC ensures that 40% of our members are Entrepreneurs, 40% are Professionals and 20% are Young Leaders. With 30% local representation in every chapter city, DLC thinks and acts globally - making sure that our members are two steps ahead of the curve in any given situation, at any point in time. This gives ambitious DLC Members the vivid opportunity to connect, rub shoulders and share knowledge with other like-minded individuals.


A. DLC Forums

Forums are a complete game changer in a leaders personal and professional life. We at DLC know that the leaders are often lonely at the top. While one may share 95% of their woes with another, Forums have the potential to address the remaining 5%. Thereby DLC has developed a unique forum format that enables our members to interact with a small group of individuals (6-10 members) for peer-to-peer business knowledge. The benefit here is that each Forum group serves as your personal board of directors. B. DLC Knowledge

DLC is a platform where ready-to-apply business knowledge from 2200+ men and women of eminence is shared with members to help them take more informed decisions and thus stay ahead of the curve. It is the largest content creator for day-to-day business & lifestyle knowledge.


The invaluable and exclusive management knowledge and “tricks-of-the trade” come from these prominent individuals who are experts in their domain and are at the zenith of their careers. It is an ecosystem of resources across industries where a strong knowledge base is created keeping Entrepreneurs, Professionals and Young Leaders in mind.


The knowledge is segregated into two Committees—Business and Lifestyle, which are further divided into 13 sub-committees each. Honorary Committee Members (HCMs), who are experts in their field offer bespoke business knowledge and experiences that DLC members can apply to make day-to-day lifestyle and business decisions. At DLC Knowledge, members will have access to original and exclusive content that is not available anywhere else on any platform.

D. YouTurn Events

YouTurn is a signature DLC event that is hosted live, three times a year, in every DLC chapter city. A YouTurn event is based on a particular Learning or Lifestyle committee theme and is focused purely on introducing members to the finest components of that event’s theme, from strategy and marketing to fine wines and hospitality.


Key features of a YouTurn event:-
  • Each DLC Chapter will host three theme-based, live events a year – which will be an ensemble of immersive learning followed by exquisite culinary experiences and an all-night extravaganza - the mother of All Parties in your city!
  • Passionately curated by DLC members, YouTurn events will also have luxury lifestyle exhibitions for the entire family.
  • Each event begins with engaging formal learning sessions that includes keynotes from industry leaders, and then transitions to loosely structured learning and entertainment, finally culminating in intimate informal interactions with fellow members in your chapter.

E. 19 Global Summits

19 Global Summits & Awards through the year. The Della Resort in Lonavala is going to be very busy hosting these Events where each of them is dedicated to a specialized domain. But Della is like ‘bring it on!’


We have an ecosystem that’s already up and running – studios, lounges, lobby, amphitheater… besides the 250 rooms, 12 banquets and 7 restaurants. DLC offers the ultimate “Off-Site” experience to its members and their families with “Chapter” as well “International” retreats. DLC Retreats are an opportunity for the entire family to learn, experience and interact – at breath-taking locations, Avant Garde hospitality and luxe culinary cuisines organized by our Global Hotels, Restaurants & Experiential Travel Committee.


Be it a Chapter Retreat or an International retreat, members and their families will get the ultimate “transformational” learning experience at inspiring destinations, combined with rest and relaxation that only a great retreat can offer. Each DLC Retreat is planned in sync with recommendations from our DLC Lifestyle Committees – right from the Retreat’s exotic getaway locations to the Retreat’s exciting social events and parties, thoughtfully put together by the Global Events Committee.


DLC Retreats are neither summer camps nor considered casual holidays. DLC implements a balanced 1/3rd rule while planning any retreat:

  • 1/3 Group Activity
  • 1/3 Social Time

A City-Chapter refers to one of the many locations across the globe, where Della Leaders Club has been established by officially setting up an office. There are currently 15 City-Chapters that exist around the world, they are: New York, London, Dubai, Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, Indore, Ahmedabad and 1 Global Chapter.

We are a global community of leaders that stands on the tenets of business knowledge, lifestyle improvement and forum connections. Sticking to our ethos of being a truly global community, we welcome all nationalities, faiths, genders and ages. We ensure that 40% of our members are Entrepreneurs, 40% are Professionals and 20% are Young Leaders. With 30% local representation in every chapter city, DLC thinks and acts globally - ensuring that our members are always ahead of the curve in any given situation, at any point in time.

HCMs are Honorary Committee Members from our 26 Global Committees (13 Global Business Committees & 13 Global Lifestyle Committees) across each chapter comprising of men and women of eminence - who believe in helping others through their individual domain knowledge.

Forum

Forums consists of a small group of 6-10 members, chaired by a member-moderator. Your Forum members act as your board of directors who offer you advice on your personal life and business based on their experiences.


How DLC Forums work
  • DLC Forums operate on the key idea that some of our best work happens when you’re in close contact with a small group who knows you well, and with who you feel comfortable expressing key, important ideas with.
  • When a new member joins DLC, the member will be added to a specific Forum.
  • Forums will have regularly scheduled Forum meetings with defined agendas. On the DLC dashboard, members will be able to view their engagement scores with the Forums that they are part of.
  • DLC members can choose to join a Chapter Forum or Regional Forum, whichever best suits their interest. A Spouse Forum, a Young Leaders Forum are ways in which the Forum experience extends to the whole family and sets up the next generation for thoughtful business practices. Forum Retreats are also offered to Forum members.
YouTurn Events

  • The DLC Brand Collaborations initiative will help brands reach DLC’s niche member profile, at no cost. Reaching new, high-caliber, discerning audiences beyond their existing markets and will act as a viable growth channel going forward.
  • All brands will have their own microsites on  www.dellaleaders.com. The microsite will showcase ‘curated’, “limited edition” products, offers and deals (of course, only available exclusively to DLC members.). In addition, brands will get an opportunity to showcase their offerings at our very own DLC YouTurn events.
  • www.dellaleaders.com. can also feature special content for a brand through DLC Talks, and DLC Master Classes, etc. – giving brands further promotional mileage, which brands can choose to share on social media, etc.
  • Brands will also benefit because their microsite on  www.dellaleaders.com.  will feature a “back link” to the brand’s main website – adding to their website traffic. Every brand yearns for genuine back-link traffic – and we will be providing this advantage for free.

DLC is looking for individuals who have been committed to giving back to society and creating Social Impact in the community at large.


Most of us have the desire but not the time to make a difference to society. However, DLC has come up with a formula that will encourage our HCMs and members to engage in Social Impact causes that resonate with the 26 DLC Business and lifestyle Committees and 1 DLC Forum wherein, the global committees can engage in any numbers of causes to make that difference.

While DLC allows its members from across borders, cultures and professional fields to interact and forge productive alliances, its strength lies in the form of 2200+ thought leaders, its dedicated Honorary Global Committees and its distinguished Members who are at the forefront of 26 domains within DLC’s Business and Lifestyle divisions. It is the knowledge, experiences, insights that these experts bring to the DLC table that make each DLC Global Committee unique and invaluable the world over.

To become a DLC Member you need to have at least one notable accomplishment which others can learn from. DLC is also looking for individuals committed to give back to the society and create social impact in the community.

QUALIFYING TITLE

• Entrepreneur

Must be the owner, founder, co-founder or controlling shareholder of a company. The said company must gross more than 3 million USD annually.


• Professional

Should hold the designation of President, Chairman of the Board, CEO, CIO, CFO, CTO, COO, CXO, Managing Director, Managing Partner or Senior Partner.

Should hold the top position of a qualifying company or division.

Must be directly responsible for all operations of the business or the division.


• Professional Leader

Annual income of 150,000 USD annually.


• Young Leader

Individual under the age of 30 who is an owner, founder or co-founder of a company that grosses more than 75,000 USD annually.


To become a member the process is as follows: -


  • Application Review: Once received, your application will be reviewed by our membership team to ensure that all criteria are met.
  • Information & Documentation: Once your application is reviewed, Our Membership team will walk you through the next steps. To help us get to know you better, you will be requested to fill a Profile Form and submit a specific set of attested documents.
  • In-person Interview: Once the verification process is over, your interview will be arranged with the Membership/Chapter Director.
  • DLC Membership Fees: Upon acceptance into DLC by the Membership Director, Membership Committee and your Chapter Director you can pay to confirm your DLC Membership. The DLC Membership is a yearly Subscription fee of US $ 4000 and are prorated based on the fiscal month you join.
  • DLC Community: On becoming a member you will be inducted into DLC by your Chapter Director and invited for a member meet-and-greet.
  • You will gain complete access to the World’s 1st Business Platform and its offerings - DLC Knowledge, You-Turn Events, Brand Collaborations, Global Summits, as well as a wide variety of other member benefits. Discover the member offerings available to you here
  • Forum Orientation and Training: Within the first three months of membership, you will also get the option to choose from or wide array of Global Forum Facilitators to go through Forum training and subsequently be placed in a Forum.

To become a DLC member of any chapter, selected members can decide the duration of their membership and are subsequently required to render the following charges:

MEMBERSHIP DURATION IN US DOLLARS
1 YEAR 4,000

The membership fees are all-inclusive with no extra charge for YouTurn Events, DLC Talks, etc. for members, their spouses/partners and children. DLC Retreats are the only offering that would come at an additional cost to members.

Upon acceptance into the Club, the selected member will be guided to a payment link. Once paid, the member will be issued a physical ID and virtual account to access all the DLC Offerings - business and lifestyle resources, invitations to physical and digital events and curated privileges.


Within the first three months members will participate in Club orientations and be welcomed into their local chapters. In due course, members will undergo forum training prior to being placed in one. The welcome kit and introduction letter will cover all aspects in more detail.


VERIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS
  • These are the minimum requirements to meet for DLC Membership. Only externally certified public accountants, chartered accountants or lawyers/attorneys are approved as independent third parties to vet membership documents.
  • The final membership approval lies at the discretion of the Membership Committee. Meeting the qualification criteria does not guarantee membership.
