Ravi Viswanathan

Mr Ravi Viswanathan is a French citizen with roots in Pondicherry, He attended two engineering schools in France before a carrer in investment banking. He founded Nexgen Financial Holding in 2000, an investment bank specialised in corporate derivatives which was subsequently acquired by Natixis. In late 2011 Mr Viswanathan along with 6 other business partners spearheaded Visvires Capital which is an investment and advisory Group. Together with his partners, Visvires Capital Asia Pte Ltd , a private equity fund management company was set-up in Singapore in late 2012, which concentrates on the management of funds of accredited and institutional investors and intends to focus on investments in the agritech tech, wine and luxury sectors mainly in Europe and South Asia.r Viswanathan has since been the Chief Executive Officer of Visvires Capital Asia. HE is an avid collector of wines mostly burgundies but including also a number of 19th century vintages from across France. Visvires has invested in the last 10 years in wineries in India and France. Currently Visvires is the main shareholder of Grover Zampa Vineyards in India with Ravi Acting as its Chairman
