Dr. Horst-Henning Wolf

Prof. Dr. Horst-Henning Wolf counts among his many achievements leading management positions and teaching positions in reputed universities. He graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a degree in Business Administration from the University of Karlsruhe. He then continued to complete his doctorate on the subject of ControllingMultinational Companies from the University of Karlsruhe.
Dr. Horst-Henning worked with BMW in various leading roles during 1973-2004. His stint at BMW included a successful tenure at BMW AG’s corporate strategy for China and Senior Vice President of Technical Purchasing at the BMW Headquarters at Munich. For ten years he was responsible for the worldwide corporate non-production buying of the whole group, and he handled a purchasing volume of several billion euros annually. He transformed BMW’s purchase department from an administration hub to a central strategic information hub. He was the Senior Vice President of the BMW group, when he retired in 2004.
