In his early in 20s, David Meltzer entered and quickly rose to the top of the business world. A born salesman and armed with a law degree, he was quickly flying around the globe to speak about his business philosophies. But his rapid success left him feeling empty and eventually heading into a personal downward spiral. Before he hit rock bottom, however, he became spiritually enlightened enabling him to transform his life. Beginning with his stint as CEO to the generally acknowledged first super sports agent Leigh Steinberg (Leigh was the basis for the movie, Jerry Maguire), David began to meld his newfound outlook with business. Upon starting a new venture, Sport 1 Marketing with Hall of Fame Quarterback Warren Moon, David was truly able to incorporate his philosophies into their business practice, and the business has thrived beyond any and all expectations.

There are seven interconnected principles that are applicable to our lives in general and just as relevant to more specific pursuits such as business. Each principle is supported by four key elements. The goal is to create an energy that scales itself by generating its own like-kind energy. Ultimately, we want to not only put things out into the universe in a certain way that will come back to us twofold, but also where what we empower creates a similar energy. Business is the most pervasive and influential force on the planet today. Its activities transcend national and international borders. Its activities are not unduly constrained by financial, political, cultural, ethnic, or religious concerns. The net of this is that business, as a prevalent and important force, has a moral responsibility to guide, enhance, value, and nourish the existence of all that it encounters. In the world today, the absolute opposite of this occurs. Business today seldom assesses the efficacy of its activities through the lens of anything but profit. Traditional capitalism forgets an important variable, that of happiness.

The true purpose of business is to uplift the experience of existing. It is not to make owners wealthy. It is not to produce ever-cheaper goods and services. Compassionate capitalism is an economic system meant to make a lot of money, help a lot of people, and have a lot of fun. It is not to keep an avaricious and toxic economic model afloat. And it is certainly not (with no apology to Milton Friedman) to make a profit.

From our perspective, business is nothing less than a spiritual discipline, it requires the same integrity, commitment, intentionality, courage, discipline, and compassion as any other spiritual discipline. Spiritual disciplines honor life, in all its forms, as having innate and intrinsic value simply because it exists. It’s the honoring of this value—the ennobling of this value—that is called forth when we approach business as a spiritual undertaking. It is the compassionate thing to do.

People who are operating at the highest levels emotionally, spiritually, in terms of their physical character, the way they live, and of course, financially. Hall of Fame Flag Football Association exists for the youth in the communities in which we operate.

We coach kids in a positive and respectful way, emphasize team and sportsmanship, build character and demonstrate values, along with teaching fundamental skills of the great game of football.

As part of the NFL Flag Football program and in conjunction with USA Football, we operate both Flag Football and 7-on-7 Passing League programsour participants get an amazing youth sports experience in both Flag Football and 7-on-7 Passing League for kid’s of all skill levels.

All participants wear an official NFL Flag Jersey and are part of a program that is guided by Hall of Fame Pro Football athletes.

Even if you have never touched a football before, we want you to join us and the hundreds of kids from your community and experience the lifetime of benefits from being a part of a team.

Our programs are open for boys and girls, and we group by grade from Kindergarten through 8th grade. When you sign up, you can even request to be on a team with a friend and we’ll do our best to accommodate you!

We are empowering lives through education. The Unstoppable Foundation is a non-profit humanitarian organization that moves communities in developing countries from surviving to thriving so that every person can realize their full potential. The Crescent Moon Foundation, founded by Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing support for educational pursuits that will benefit children most in need who have displayed a commitment to their community, as well as other charitable causes. Ten scholarships are awarded annually to students who demonstrate a commitment to their community, excel in leadership and academics, and who are in need.

The National High School Basketball Association (NHSBA) is a national nonprofit organization founded in 2006 with the purpose of providing youth a safe haven to develop physically, emotionally, and intellectually. We focus on practical life skills that will guide their path toward graduation from high school, college or trade school, and into successful adult life.
