Within a month’s time, the Hockey World Cup opening ceremony was designed and completed, delivering a successful and magical experience to a packed stadium. The memorable evening began with the arrival of the captains of the participating teams followed by an inspiring speech by Mr. Naveen Patnaik, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha. Produced and executed with a crew of over 400 & a mass cast of 1200 performers, the ceremony saw various aspects come to life, like more than 150 drones recreated the countdown to the ceremony. The event witnessed a stellar line-up of personalities, leading with the appearance of Shah Rukh Khan who recreated the ‘Chak De India’ moment with the iconic ’Sattar minute’ (70 minutes) dialogue. This was followed by Madhuri Dixit giving a stunning performance on ‘Mother Earth’, which depicted the five elements and five senses of the human world. As the well-synced fireworks lit up the sky and dazzled the audience, the ceremony concluded with a live performance by music maestro, A. R. Rahman who sang his rendition of the theme song, ‘Jai Hind, Jai India’.

Spectators from all over the world witnessed the ‘35th edition of F1H2O’ championship, a spectacular sporting extravaganza in partnership with India Xtreme Adventure Activities Private Limited as the India partner. The organising committee of the Grand Prix chose Amaravati as a way of promoting water sport culture in the region. After three and half months of planning the event, the team handled the production on a turnkey basis, under strict international standard guidelines laid down by F1H2O Grand Prix. The championship took place at the Banks of River Krishna which had a festive atmosphere. Alongside the event, the idea was also to make people engage in various activities that showcased the arts, culture and delectable cuisine of Andhra Pradesh. A city wide parade filled the streets of Amravati which witnessed F1H2O’S nine teams’ parade the city on their individual trailers.
