Abhay Tandon

Abhay Tandon is the Director and Head of Lowe’s Innovation Labs – India, the innovation entity of Lowe’s (Fortune 50 retailer). In the past, he has led the Target Accelerator Program and has set up the Innovation Brewery, the Open Innovation program at AbInBev India as part of the Strategy and Innovation functions. Over the last 5 years in technology innovation function, he has executed over 30 deep technology projects with startups and other innovation stakeholders across the value chain of retail and FMCG. Prior to that, he has also worked in startups, VC and consulting roles ranging across functions. Abhay is an angel investor, an official global member of the esteemed Forbes Technology Council, a Charter Member of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) and a contributing author in varied publications including Times of India etc. Abhay is also recognised as a Super Mentor at AIM iCREST, an Incubator Capabilities enhancement program by NITI Aayog, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Wadhwani Foundation. He has been associated with multiple startup incubation and acceleration programs in the past in the capacity of a selector and mentor. Abhay is an alumni of SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai and IESEG School of Business, France. Apart from being passionate about Innovation, he enjoys spending his time watching Sci-Fi shows and travelling.
