spirituosenakademie
The Spirits Academy was founded in 2004 as a joint project by Arthur Nägele , Bartholomäus Fink and Ulrich Zeni. The declared aim of the Spirits Academy was and is to pass on knowledge about spirits and to raise their reputation. The founders are all respected professionals in the spirits industry and have co-founded countless courses that are now standard in the industry.
Unfortunately, the common goals have dispersed somewhat over the years. Bartholomäus Fink is now a master distiller at a well-known Swiss distillery and Ulrich Zeni works full-time for the Tyrolean Chamber of Agriculture and runs his own farm.
Arthur Nägele took over the management of the Spirits Academy in 2010. The Spirits Academy is the only accredited training partner of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in London, which offers spirits courses in German and English in German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland). The Spirits Academy is a registered trademark under which WSET public courses are conducted.
