MM Project Consultants

MM Project Consultants have 12 years of intense experience on slum rehabilitation to offer. They have evolved a comprehensive strategy using Public Private Partnership (PPP) focusing on providing high quality infrastructure for “HIKES” – Health, Income, Knowledge, Environment & Socio – Cultural development. This strategy emphasizes on harnessing the important human resources in slum dwellers and provides opportunities to increase their income. Originally conceived Dharavi project using PPP model and currently it is being redeveloped using their strategy with zero or negligible expense to the Government of Maharashtra (GoM). They are Project Management Consultants for slum rehabilitation projects involving over 500,000 slum families living on Mumbai Airport land, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation areas, and cities like Nagpur, Jalgaon, Bangalore and Hyderabad. Further, this strategy has been well received in foreign countries. As members of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), MM Project Consultants have undertaken making six countries slum free namely India, South Africa, Turkey, Mexico, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. By virtue of their experience of working with different cities having different needs, they are confident to provide a strategy focusing on sustainable development only customized for Pune. The Pune Municipal Corporation will not have to invest (except out of pocket expenses towards travel, printing & stationery etc), but infact will receive premium from the slum rehabilitation project, which can be used for other infrastructure projects vital for city’s development. Prepared Detailed Project Report (DPR) under JNNURM for Basic Services for Urban Poor (BSUP) for Nagpur having project cost of 1 billion which has been approved by JNNURM.
