Hemanth Sureddi

Hemanth Sureddi, an executive MBA from IIMB and a topper at the United States Department of Agriculture, North Carolina State University in tobacco grading and blending, is the man behind Cigar Conexion. A graduate from Mysore University, Hemanth always wanted to be an entrepreneur and make use of his agronomist father’s global experience in India in the tobacco industry and thus ventured out to create Cigar Conexion, a company that imports and retails Premium Handmade cigars to India.

After extensive research and study in Indian luxury market, Hemanth decided to enter into the premium cigar segment. With his vast experience and understanding the palate of the Indian connoisseurs, the cigars are imported to India with a knack to pre-select the best. The company is the official importer and master distributor of multi branded premium handmade cigars. These cigars are mainly imported from the Dominican Republic, Honduras, Nicaragua and USA. The company has expanded its business to major cities in India and also has plans to expand its operations also in East Asian countries to create premium experience centres.

When he is not travelling on business or looking into bringing new brands to cigar aficionados in India, Hemanth is found doing wildlife photography, fishing and exploring local cuisines. He also enjoys scuba diving and sky diving. Always exploring new experiences!
