Preventing Child Sexual Abuse Online
01 Preventing Child Sexual Abuse Online
Every child born has a right to be protected and live a life free of neglect, exploitation and violence. The DLC Social Impact Community rallies its support to collaborate with NGOs committed to protecting child victims of human trafficking, provide them comprehensive services to uphold their rights and provide options for a life of dignity. The Community also supports advocacy efforts that strengthen the response of the state and civil society to stop sexual abuse of children in the future.
Prevent spread of disinformation
02 Prevent spread of disinformation
Disinformation cyber-attacks use manipulated, mis-contextualized and misappropriated information. It is potent enough to cause societal breakdown and violence in the streets. The DLC Social Impact Community dips into its own concentrated knowledge base and partners with tech companies and agencies forging public-private collaboration to develop rigorous security frameworks that mitigate disinformation threats.
03 Cyber Harassment
A growing number of adolescents and young adults around the world face clear and imminent danger from the Internet. Instances of Cyberbullying involving insults, harassment and embarrassment are known to spark anxiety, depression and complicated mental health problems. The DLC Social Impact Community for Cyber Security collaborates with NGOs, Foundations and organizations to find solutions that proactively defend, protect and provide therapy to the vulnerable and the victims. This is done through guidance and counselling including training sessions for parents and teachers who in turn help spread awareness.
Cyber Security is becoming a severe issue for individuals, enterprises and Governments alike where data is compromised through ransomware, phishing and malware attacks. Growing number of cyber crimes involve people getting tricked into fake job offers and promises to be exploited for profit.
